Battery Transition Boxes, Isolators and Junction Boxes
TransiBox is a fused battery transition box required by IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) for battery installations using more than one parallel battery string. The product is available as a Combi or Single Pole device. Combi enclosures allow the connection of both positive (+ve) and negative (-ve) terminations inside a single enclosure with a ‘flip-over’ safety barrier. Single Pole products are sold in pairs with one enclosure for each polarity.

Battery Transition Boxes, Isolators and Junction Boxes

Battery junction boxes like TransiBox provide electrical separation and isolation of individual battery strings, allowing individual battery blocks to be safely tested, maintained or replaced. TransiBox also includes over current and short circuit protection for DC links and cabling.
Battery boxes, like TransiBox simplify battery installations using multiple battery strings and cater for periodic battery testing without disturbing bolted battery connections – which could reduce connection integrity over time.
