GE Critical Power UPS Systems

GE Critical Power is the GE Uninterruptible Power Supplies division responsible for the design, manufacture and supply of UPS systems into critical power applications.

The Critical Power Path within a datacentre is the electrical supply path from the building incomer to the critical load PDUs. The path includes sub-station transformers, main HV/LV distribution boards, sub-distribution boards, generators, UPS and PDUs. The GE Critical Power range of uninterruptible power supplies runs from small line interactive UPS for single applications mid-sized systems for comms rooms and large parallel UPS systems capable of supporting the largest data centres. The UPS range includes single phase (1/1) and three phase (3/1 and 3/3) systems that can be configured to operate in parallel/N+X redundancy with dual input supplies and upstream Static Transfer Systems (STS) for additional resilience within higher Tier-rated (Uptime Institute) data centres. GE Critical UPS are also suitable for other critical load installations including medical, industrial, retail and transportation with options for maritime and rail applications.
