Inverter/Charger Systems For Backup Power
At EcoPowerSupplies we can help to store electrical power for use as a backup power and off-the-grid power solution. These inverter chargers can be used to charge a battery set whilst drawing power from the mains when it is present. When the mains power fails the connected battery set is used to automatically support the loads with a 230Vac 50Hz supply (120Vac and 60Hz options are available). For three phase applications systems can be configured in parallel. The inverter chargers can be used with suitably selected lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries approved for use with the MultiPlus and Quattro systems. Contact us for details.

MultiPlus and Quattro Systems
The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter with a sophisticated battery charger featuring adaptive charging technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single compact enclosure. Models from 800VA to 5kVA (5000VA).
The Quattro is a similar system but with two AC inputs and an integrated transfer switch. The Quattro inverter charger system can be connected to two independent AC sources, (e,g, mains power and a generator) or two generator sources. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source and when these fail use battery power to support the load.

Inverter Charger Accessories
Digital Multi Control Panel: a convenient and low cost solution for remote monitoring, with a rotary knob to set Power Control and Power Assist levels.
Blue Power Panel: connects to a Multi or Quattro and all VE.Net devices, in particular the VE.Net Battery Controller. Provides graphical display of currents and voltages.
BMV Battery Monitor: features an advanced microprocessor control system combined with high resolution measuring systems for battery voltage and charge/discharge current. The software includes complex calculation algorithms, (Peukert’s formula), to accurately determine the state of charge of the battery. The BMV displays battery voltage, current, consumed Ah or time to go. The unit also stores data regarding performance and use of the battery. Several models are available.
Computer controlled operation and monitoring interfaces are available:
- MK2.2 VE.Bus to RS232 converter: connects to the RS232 port of a computer
- MK2-USB VE.Bus to USB converter: connects to a USB port
- VE.Net to VE.Bus converter:iInterface to VE.Net
- VE.Bus to NMEA 2000 converter
- Victron Global Remote: a modem which sends alarms, warnings and system status reports to mobile phones via text messages (SMS). It can also log data from Victron Battery Monitors, Multiplus and Quattro units to the VRM website through a GPRS connection. Access to this website is free of charge
- Victron Ethernet RemoteL connects to an Ethernet network
- Colour Control panel:a Linux microcomputer running open source software. The CCGX provides intuitive control and monitoring for all products connected to it.
For all MultiPlus and Quattro systems we can provide the additional battery sets and generators as requested.
