PowerScout is a submetering energy logger that can be used for multi-circuit or branch-circuit monitoring to generate consumption data (every 0.5s). The energy meters are ideal for use within commercial, industrial, government and retail environments and will log kWh/kW energy usage and demand data, in addition to a wide range of measurements (50 in total) that can be used for both monitoring and diagnostics purposes. The PowerScout energy loggers work on both single and three-phase mains power supplies.
Connection is made to each phase of the mains power supply using various interchangeable Current Transformers (CTs). Remote data collection can be made from the built-in RS-485 serial connection using the Modbus protocol. Up to 254 PowerScout devices can be connected to a single datalogger or RTU for multiple location monitoring. ViewPoint software can be used for configuration and to check readings.
