We provide free of charge UPS site surveys across the UK and Eire and respond to all survey requests within 24 hours. All UPS site surveys are provided free-of-charge for normal working hours work and if the site location is covered through our service network and engineering availability.

UPS Site Survey Process
Most UPS site surveys typically last around 1-2 hours depending on the size of the installation. Following the site survey our engineers will generate a project report from which we can provide recommendations and a quotation for future works if required. Our aims during the UPS site survey are to:
- Assess the load size and electrical profile
- Review the physical location and environment
- Assess existing switchgear and electrical works
- Plan the delivery route and logistics arrangements
- Discuss software and BMS monitoring requirements
- Review Health & Safety RAMS and Environmental Management impacts
- Discuss ongoing maintenance and technical support requirements
- Assess a general program of works and preferred installation timeframe
- Discuss additional works: load bank testing, temporary power supplies and thermal imaging.
- Discuss any existing UPS and battery installation for Trade-in and recycling
Server Power Audits and Load Calculations
Our engineers can perform load calculations to help to identify the right uninterruptible power supply size for your installation and future needs. Measurements can be taken from electrical distribution points (with an RMS meter) or measured using a handheld iMeter monitoring device suitable for server rack power cord attachment. Measured readings can then be compared to any in-situ PDUs, SNMP or DCIM monitoring software.
